Stevenson, Alabama
The Stevenson, Alabama depot, about 15 miles south of South Pittsburg, was built in 1872. Pictured here in 2002, the historic structure is today home of the Stevenson Railroad Depot Museum. The tracks of CSX Transportation Inc. run in front of the depot while those of Norfolk-Southern run behind the depot. The two railroads converge a few hundred feet to the north of the depot and run a double track from here most of the way to Chattanooga, Tennessee. Click link below to see museum.
