The Dunlap, Tennessee Railroad Passenger & Freight Depot is seen in the right background of this photograph dating around 1925. This wood framed depot was built in 1888 and is similar in style with other wood depots built by the Nashville, Chattanooga & St. Louis Railway for the Sequatchie Valley Railroad (Pikeville Branch Railroad). In this photograph taken on August 31, 2005 can be seen a portion of the old Pikeville Branch Railroad (Sequatchie Valley Railroad) just north of downtown Dunlap, Tennessee. Trains have not ventured here since the early 1990s.
